You're warm when you're puffy.

It's been in the single digits temperature wise (Fahrenheit) the past couple days. There seems to be hundreds of little birds roosting in my parents' evergreen bushes and false cypress tree, sustaining themselves off a nearby bird feeder.

This is one of my favorites, a junco. They really puff themselves up for insulation when it's this cold out.
I wonder how many birds there would be if people didn't put out feeders for them.
