I have a Jade plant that my mother started for me when I was probably around 10 years old.. that makes it around 13 years old. Most of it's life it spent in the front window of mum's kitchen where it never was turned to ensure even growth and grew quite gangly, but it lived atleast! Now that it's in my care I'm sort of worried for it.
After repotting it recently, I decided to pinch off some of the growth that was way too abnormal. When I was done I realized I had removed the majority of the foliage. Crap!
The only thing I can equate it to is losing most of your resources in an RTS. Absolutely devastating.
I really think it will live through it though, and hopefully be a stronger plant overall.
..butt it has these oozy spots where branches used to be that seem to cry at me.
