Selling My Pie to Live
Apr. 8th, 2005
My mother told me that since she'll be babysitting my cousin's baby this summer that she may not be able to make pies for my aunt's fruit stand. She wasn't able to make them a couple years ago for some other reason, so I ended up making them.
It was quite lucrative. I ended up making enough money to buy my car outright from it. I'd buy fresh fruit from the stand, or even pick it myself, making the overhead extremely low and the quality extremely high.
Hopefully I'll get to make them this summer as well, further postponing getting an actual job.
Plus I can't deny the people their pie. They love my pie and are willing to pay top dollar for it.
