Dear Boyfriend:

They say that there are many milestones that a couple must go through together, such as holding hands, the first kiss, etc.  There is one landmark that we've yet to get to that seems traditionally initiated by the male, but as time goes by it seems that it is not going to happen if I allow it to be left up to you.

...and so, I have decided that the time has come for me to openly (and loudly) pass gas infront of you.

I would hope that you would do the same.
