I woke up Sunday morning to dead silence followed by stomping. I got up and inspected; the normal loud hum of computer fans was gone. The rabbits were as shocked as I was. Buckybo-SkidBoot and Kiwi were sounding off with a duet of irritated rabbit stomps. I looked outside and saw the world was crushed under a massive amount of snow, and no signs of letting up.
I went back to sleep, woke up in the afternoon.. no signs of letting up.
That night our only form of light, warmth and entertainment were candles.
It was so very cold. It took almost an hour to heat water with the candles to make tea. We did get our hands on a transistor radio, but it was AM only.. hardly entertainment.
I buried my meat in a snow drift so it wouldn't spoil.
